Our Story

Radio Lamington by Daisy Green started as our baking project during the first UK Lockdown of 2020. We began baking our famous Aussie lamingtons to show our gratitude and support for the NHS front line heroes who were working around the clock to save lives. We wanted to do our small part and providing a break and a happy memory of home felt right. Since then, we have baked and donated over 50,000 Aussie Lamingtons and cakes for the amazing NHS frontline workers around London (St Marys, St Thomas’s, London Free, Great Ormond Street, Cromwell and many, many more). Much of this work was done on a volunteer basis by our incredible staff, from managers to kitchen porters to our founders.

We started Radio Lamington for the NHS and it is still a core part of our business as we donate to hospitals every week through our ‘Lamington for a Lamington’ campaign - for every box of lamingtons purchased we make and deliver one with love to the NHS frontliners every Friday.

Our lamingtons are contemporary twists on the Aussie classic. A staple at family gatherings and BBQ’s, the iconic Lamington is a sponge, layered with jam and coated in chocolate and coconut. We create changing flavours inspired by the season, as well as some nostalgic flavours rooted in Aussie childhood including our beloved Golden Gaytime and Milo lamingtons.
